Learning a new set of accounting principles would be time consuming if you started from scratch.  GAAP Seminars has developed the following GAAP comparison courses which teach you the other GAAP using your existing expertise (either IFRS or U.S. GAAP) as a basis, allowing for a more effecient and effective knowledge transfer.

Bridging the GAAP to IFRS
The SEC has already removed the reconciliation requirement for foreign private issuers using IFRS and its roadmap proposes the eventual use of IFRS by U.S. companies. This two-day course is for executives, analysts, accountants and others responsible for financial reporting/analysis who understand U.S. GAAP, but need to know about IFRS to function in the global marketplace.
U.S. GAAP and IFRS Compared
A true comparison course, the purpose of this two day course is to review the recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure differences still existing between the two main accounting standards in the world today. It is assumed that participants have a working knowledge of either U.S. GAAP or IFRS.
